Sunlit Summer Dresses

What with flower patterns sprouting up everywhere I thought it would be nice to take a break from prints and give something clean and polished a go. With it being summer, flowers are blooming and sprouting up everywhere and as much as I LOVE floral prints I personally think that I have way too many and these simple dresses are definitely a clean and fresh way to make a summer change in any wardrobe!

On a clear blue cloudless sky, there’s nothing you would like more than to slip on a breezy maxi dress. For a picnic, for a day out at the waterfall, strolling across warm beach sand, or like many of us just popping over to the mall with your friends and chill with a cup of coffee. This is the perfect dress for any summer occasion. Sexy spaghetti straps, a smocked bust with teeny tiny frill details, pretty tiered skirt with crochet detailing and the best part, no need for ironing! YAY! Twist these dresses up for a fun relaxed crumpled look. Oh, and did I mention this maxi is suitable for petites as well. :) On me, it ends at the shins, for petites it’ll be the perfect lovely long dress. :)

We’ve had our long maxi staple, now something a little shorter and oh so whimsical. A pretty piece with a simple tube bust that hugs you perfectly before flowing into a perfect pleated circle skirt. This has got to be one of the sweetest dress I have ever seen. Available in an array of beautiful soft colours with a fun triple colour block hem. This surely is a must have summer dress! After all, how can you possible go wrong with a dress that is meant to flatter.
Do note that for cream and white, it is a little sheer especially under direct sunlight so do wear nude/white coloured safety pants and keep the floral printed undies for another outfit. :)
